Andrew Sun

New Product Development Associate at NeuraStasis

Andrew Sun is a Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering Bachelor's degree holder from Rice University. Andrew has worked as a Research Assistant at Photonics and Energy Research Lab. Later, Andrew worked as a Research Assistant at Bashor Laboratory and as an Engineering Design Intern for Global Health at Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen. Currently, Andrew is a New Product Development Associate at NeuraStasis. At their internship, Andrew designed a training manikin to support nurses in learning Ballard Scoring and implemented a bio-inspired tendon-like mechanism system for infant-sized manikin limbs. The manikin was transported to Malawi for testing and demonstrated 5/6 Ballard signs.
