With more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Massimo’s professional background and expertise are focused in the fields of commercial development, business strategy and operations management and he offers an extensive knowledge of the Italian market.
Massimo has previously held senior positions in multinational pharmaceutical companies such as Takeda/Nycomed, where he first assumed the position of Sales & Operations Director. He was then promoted to Business Unit Director to develop innovative business model building territorial networks and implement effective multichannel strategy. He was fully responsible for profit and loss for the company’s established business in gastroenterology, cardiovascular and CNS areas.
Previously he worked in Wyeth Lederle and in Lundbeck as Sales Director for 10 years, and in Menarini and Alcon/Galderma, where he started his career. With an educational background in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan, he holds higher education qualifications in Strategic Marketing Management & Global Positioning from MCE in Bruxelles and from Henley College, UK.
