Enrique Carrazana

SVP - Strategic Initiatives at Neurelis

Enrique Carrazana's work experience includes roles as the SVP - Strategic Initiatives and Chief Medical Officer at Neurelis, Inc. from December 2016 to April 2023. Enrique is currently serving as the Director on the Board of Directors at CND Life Sciences since August 2021. Enrique also holds the position of Director on the Board of Directors at Hawaii Biotech, Inc. starting from September 2018. From January 2013 to June 2021, they served as the Director on the Board of Directors at Marinus Pharma. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Medical Officer at Acorda Therapeutics from October 2011 to January 2016. Enrique has also held positions at the University of Miami, serving as a member of the Epilepsy Division from October 2010 to September 2011, and as an Associate Professor of Neurology and Director of VAH Epilepsy Center of Excellence at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine from October 2010 to September 2011. Before that, they were the Global Head of Established Medicines Development Franchise at Novartis Pharma AG from 2001 to 2010.

Enrique Carrazana pursued their education in the field of medicine, starting with Harvard Medical School from 1983 to 1987. During this period, they earned a medical degree (MD). Following that, they joined the Harvard Longwood Neurology Program from 1987 to 1991, where they completed a fellowship/residency in neurophysiology/neurology.
