Derek Houtman is CFO and COO of Neuright, Inc. He has more than 15 years experience in sales, financial management, and business operations. In his previous positions, Houtman oversaw teams of more than 30 employees, and he was responsible for hiring, training, and supervising personnel, as well as managing a regional team with over $350mm sales annually, working with suppliers and supply chain dynamics, merchandizing, and reporting and analyzing sales.
Houtman brings other experience in retail consulting, as well as procurement and purchasing for University systems. Currently, Houtman oversees personnel, finances, and laboratory management for Neuright, and as manufacturing lead and engineering liaison, is ensuring the ‘DEN’ diagnostic device can be manufactured in an FDA-compliant way for human testing and clinical trials by maintaining and overseeing the design history file and device design specs.
