Aleksandar Nacev

Aleksandar Nacev, PhD, is an accomplished engineer and technology developer with extensive experience in bioengineering and aerospace engineering. Currently serving in technology development at neuro42 since February 2021 and as Chief Technology Officer at Promaxo since September 2017, Nacev has previously held a senior engineering role at Weinberg Medical Physics from May 2013 to February 2021. Notable projects include the development of a magnetic propulsion system for targeted therapy using magnetic nanoparticles and an innovative MRI system for high-resolution imaging. Nacev has also contributed significantly to research at the University of Maryland, managing projects focused on the application of magnetic nanoparticles in medical treatments for tinnitus and retinal disorders. With a PhD in Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, Nacev has built a robust career integrating advanced engineering technologies in the medical field.
