Carolyn McMicken

Carolyn McMicken serves as the Sr. Director of Clinical Development at Neurocrine Biosciences since February 2016, leading early development for neurology and rare disease assets, and overseeing clinical development activities for phase 1-3 programs. Previous roles include Director of neurology and rare disease clinical development, as well as leadership positions in the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team for multiple products. Carolyn's career includes extensive experience in medical affairs and clinical development at Lundbeck, Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, and Abbott Laboratories, alongside roles in clinical research and psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and North Broward Hospital District. Carolyn holds a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology from Albizu University and a B.S. in Sport and Fitness Administration from Barry University.
