David Hauser

David Hauser is a Principal Scientist in Discovery Biology at Neurocrine Biosciences with experience leading drug discovery projects, creating cell-based assays, and managing RNA-Seq data. Previously, David served as a Senior Scientist at VersaPeutics, overseeing antibody discovery and developing plans for clinical trials. Earlier roles included Director of Clinical Development and Postdoctoral Associate at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, contributing to research on frontotemporal dementia and fostering collaborations. David's postdoctoral work at the NIH focused on Parkinson's disease, and earlier research at the University of Pittsburgh established expertise in protein biochemistry. David holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Brown University and a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh.
