Marla Matin

Marla Matin, MS, DABT, has extensive experience in the field of toxicology, currently serving as Principal Scientist in Toxicology at Neurocrine Biosciences since November 2022. Prior to this role, Marla held the position of Senior Scientist in Nonclinical Safety at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from December 2019 to October 2022. Previous positions include Senior Research Scientist at Halozyme Therapeutics, Research Scientist at Salimetrics, and Senior Scientist at Pfizer, along with various research roles in other pharmaceutical and academic settings. Marla earned a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from UC Santa Barbara.
