Max Mellmer

Max Mellmer, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of chemical development and research investigation. Max has held the position of Principal Scientist, Chemical Development at Neurocrine Biosciences since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Process Development Engineer at Illumina from 2018 to 2019. Max also served as a Research Investigator at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2016 to 2018. Dr. Mellmer's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2011 to 2016, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Microbeam Technologies Inc. from 2008 to 2011. Max also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant (NSF-REU) at the University of South Carolina in 2010, and as an Environmental Health and Safety Assistant at the University of North Dakota in 2006.

Max Mellmer, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Max then pursued further studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from 2011 to 2014. Max Mellmer completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering from 2011 to 2016.
