Sean Berkowitz, MD, MBA

Sean Berkowitz, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience. In 2014, they interned at Celgene CCT in a pre-clinical/translational role. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Postbaccalaureate IRTA at the National Institutes of Health. In 2017, they joined Cogentis Therapeutics, Inc. as a Scientific Operations Associate. Sean then transitioned to NeuroDex in 2018, where they served as a Business Development Associate. Currently, from July 2021, they are a Resident Physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Sean Berkowitz, MD, MBA, obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a Certificate in Global Health from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine from 2016 to 2021. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Healthcare at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Dr. Berkowitz completed their undergraduate studies at Duke University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry.
