Marek Swoboda

Director, R&D at NeuroDiagnostic Devices

Dr. Swoboda joined NeuroDx from Drexel University where he was a Research Assistant Professor Project Engineer and Team Leader in the development of biosensors for anthrax detection, cardiovascular sensors, left ventricle assist devices, piezoelectric medical applications, and pneumatic and hydraulic medical devices. He also consulted for Rheomedix, Inc in the development of a pulmonary airflow monitor for tracheostomized children. He has received numerous technical and entrepreneurial awards for his work on innovative medical devices and holds three medical device patents. He received his MSc in Applied Physics from Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice Poland in 1993 and his Ph.D. in BioMedical Engineering from Drexel University in 2004.
