Giada Damiani has three years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Junior Specialist in Biophysical Head Modeling at Neuroelectrics. In 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, where they researched the impact of head geometry, skull conductivity and electrode configuration on transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). In 2018, they worked as a Placement Student within the Cryogenics & Magnetics Group at STFC, where they researched how to improve the lowest temperature achievable by a 2K Joule-Thomson cryocooler. Her tasks included developing consistent methods using ANSYS CFX, MATLAB and Excel to predict the performance of the cryocooler, and comparing results from the modified cooler with the ones from a standard cooler to evaluate the benefits and costs of having this new technology implemented in the system.
Giada Damiani has an education history that includes a Master's degree in Physics of Complex Systems and Biophysics from Universitat de Barcelona, a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Professional Placement from the University of Bath, and an Italian Maturità from IISS Majorana-Laterza. Giada has also obtained three additional certifications: an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science from edX, an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from edX, and an IELTS 7.0.
