Jan Gendra

Jan Gendra is a Research Collaborator at Neuroelectrics since October 2023, focusing on oscillatory dynamics in Alzheimer's disease. Prior experience includes a Brain Modeling Internship, where research on the effects of serotonergic psychedelics contributed to Bachelor's Thesis work. Jan served as a Research Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, developing a Myocontroller device for real-time EMG signal processing. A Bioinformatics Research Assistant role at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute involved studying DNA methylation in cancer organoids. Jan's background includes a Bioengineering Fellowship at IBEC with training in various bioengineering disciplines and a Research Assistant position at IDIBAPS, where an analysis of neural network behavior was conducted.
