Cognitive Scientist at Neuroglee Therapeutics

Jacklyn Leonardo has worked in the field of cognitive science since 2019. In 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow, where they performed neuroscience, neurobiology, cognitive science, and psychology investigations to facilitate the authoring of research papers. Jacklyn also gained and applied technical knowledge in R Programming, preparing test solutions, compounds, or reagents for laboratory personnel to conduct tests, cellular immunohistochemistry staining, tissue processing, cutting, and mounting on glass slides. In 2020, they worked as a Project Officer at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they performed behavioural and molecular work with mice pertaining to dementia. Jacklyn acquired skills to work with and perfuse rodents, followed by the harvesting and sectioning of the brain. Jacklyn also facilitated the data analyses of other behavioural experiments that is conducted within the lab, using softwares such as AnyMaze, Ethovision, SPSS and Clampfit. Currently, they are working as a Cognitive Scientist at Neuroglee Therapeutics.

Jacklyn Leonardo attended the University of California, Davis from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. Jacklyn then went on to the University of Glasgow, where they completed a Master of Science in Brain Sciences in 2019.
