Jeff Oliver

Jeff Oliver has a diverse work experience in engineering and research. Jeff started their career in 1987 as an Optical Systems Application and Research Engineer at United Technologies Research Center, where they supported the High Energy Laser System Test Facility and developed an applications laboratory. In 1997, they joined NeurOptics as the Director of Research and Development, where they played a key role in building the company and achieving ISO 13483:2003 certification. Jeff later worked at the Air Force Research Laboratory as a Principal Investigator, specializing in tissue optics and leading the Ophthalmic Imaging and Laser Damage research team. In 2014, they became a Consultant at JWOptics, and in 2017, they joined NeurOptics again as the Head of Engineering.

Jeff Oliver completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electro-Optics from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where they attended from 1985 to 1987. Jeff later pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 1996. Jeff Oliver went on to complete their PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same institution in 2003.
