Florian Fallegger

Florian Fallegger is a highly skilled researcher with a strong background in materials science and microengineering. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut de la Vision since January 2023, Florian also holds the positions of Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Neurosoft Bioelectronics, focusing on the development of advanced soft implantable electrodes for nervous system applications. Florian's academic journey includes a PhD in Microengineering from EPFL, reinforced by a Master's degree in Materials Science from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from EPFL. Previous roles feature engineering internships and projects at renowned institutions such as PARC Inc., IBM Switzerland, and ETH Zürich, where Florian contributed to various cutting-edge technologies in stretchable electronics and microfabrication.
