Oren Hazi

Oren Hazi has a long history of work experience in the engineering field. Oren began their career in 2008 as a Summer Research Fellow at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they designed and implemented digital filters and peak-finding algorithms in Matlab. In 2009, they were an Engineering Intern at Empower RF Systems, assisting in the development and testing of a 3.5 GHz, 50 Watt linear power amplifier. In 2010, they were a Technologist I at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, developing an FPGA system to determine the usable throughput of a 2.5 Gbps optical link. In 2011, they were a Consultant at Empower RF Systems, designing an Atmel XMEGA AVR based control system for use in an RF amplifier module. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Member of Technical Staff at Ambarella. Oren then worked as a Software Engineer at Clover Network Inc. from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they became a Senior Systems Engineer at Magic Leap, Inc. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Engineering Consultant while self-employed. Oren is currently the Director of Engineering at Neurosteer Inc.

Oren Hazi attended Milken Community High School from 2002 to 2006. Oren then went on to receive a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Caltech from 2006 to 2010. Finally, they obtained an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University from 2010 to 2012.
