Pieter van den Broek has a diverse work history with experience in various HR roles. Pieter is currently serving as the Head of HR at neustark since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Leiter Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung at Energie Wasser Bern from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, Pieter held the position of Head of HR at BERNEXPO GROUPE, where they focused on people, culture, and transformation, and led an HR team.

Pieter also has experience at Swisscom, where they served as Co-Lead Talent Management & Strategic Internal Recruitment from 2018 to 2019, HR Development Manager (Talent Management) & Strategic Internal Recruitment from 2016 to 2018, and Talent and Acquisition Manager from 2013 to 2016.

Prior to that, Pieter worked at Crucell as an HR Business Partner / HR Manager from 2010 to 2013 and as an a.i. HR Director from 2011 to 2011. Pieter also worked at Kelly Services as a Consultant from 2009 to 2010, and at Quaestus Executive Leadership as a Consultant from 2007 to 2009. Pieter's earliest work experience was as an HR project leader at Bovemij from 2005 to 2007, where they managed small projects and conducted research on employee motivation.

Pieter van den Broek began their education at Ummer Clumme, where they attended from 1988 to 1994. Pieter then proceeded to Sintermeertencollege, where they pursued VWO/Gymnasium studies from 1994 to 2000. Following this, Pieter enrolled at Radboud University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Work & Organisational Psychology from 2000 to 2007. Continuing their studies at the same university, they obtained a Master of Science in Work & Organisational Psychology from 2007 to 2009. Pieter later pursued further education at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) in 2011 and 2013 for DAS Leiter Human Resources, without obtaining a degree certificate. From 2016 to 2018, Pieter concluded their formal education with a CAS moderne Personal und Organisationsentwicklung from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW).
