Gerry Chiarella

Gerry Chiarella has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity sales. Gerry is currently working as a NeuVector Cybersecurity Sales Specialist at SUSE, a company that provides end-to-end security solutions for container infrastructures. Prior to this, Gerry worked as an Area Sales Manager and Global Strategic Account Manager at OPSWAT, where they focused on promoting a zero-trust philosophy and addressing potential threats posed by files and devices. Gerry also served as a Regional Sales Manager at Fidelis Cybersecurity, where they provided threat detection and response solutions. Before that, Gerry worked as a Regional Sales Director at A10 Networks, specializing in advanced application networking technologies. Gerry also held roles as an Area Sales Director at NTT Security (US) Inc., a Channel Account Manager at Avaya, a Channel Sales Manager at Optimum Lightpath, and an Enterprise Account Executive at Lightower Fiber Networks, XO Communications, and Qwest Communications. Throughout their career, Gerry has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry.

Gerry Chiarella completed a Bachelor's degree in Management from the New York Institute of Technology, graduating in 1982. Prior to attending college, Gerry attended Cold Spring Harbor High School. In terms of additional certifications, Gerry obtained multiple certifications from the OPSWAT Academy in various areas of security, including secure storage, network security, endpoint compliance, email security, web-traffic protection, legacy-system security, data-transfer security, file security, and critical infrastructure protection. These certifications were obtained between January 2022 and August 2022.
