Matthew Anderson

Matthew Anderson, CPA, has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Matthew is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at Nevada Copper Corp, where they took on the role in April 2022. Prior to this, Matthew served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at Nevada Copper Corp from August 2022 to November 2022.

Before joining Nevada Copper Corp, Matthew worked at Argonaut Gold Inc. from March 2020 to April 2022 as the Director of Corporate Finance. During their time there, they played a key role in the consolidation of approximately twenty new entities and their integration onto SAP as part of the Alio Gold Merger.

Matthew's experience also includes working as the Vice President of Finance at Henry Company from January 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they played a vital role in the sale process of Henry Company, managed due diligence responses to private equity consultants, and served as an interim plant manager at the Fernley location.

Prior to Henry Company, Matthew held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Fortifiber Corporation from October 2015 to January 2018 and at US Ordnance from July 2013 to October 2015. Matthew also served as the Corporate Controller at Gradient Resources, Inc. from July 2010 to July 2013.

Matthew started their career at Deloitte & Touche, where they worked as an Audit Senior from June 2006 to July 2010.

Matthew Anderson, CPA, earned both a Masters and Bachelors degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University from 2002 to 2006. Matthew is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Nevada, certified by the Nevada State Board of Accountancy.
