Spencer Lewis currently serves as the Assistant Director of Risk Management for the Nevada System of Higher Education, where responsibilities include assisting campuses in developing and implementing an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and chairing ERM Committees. Prior to this role, Spencer was the Facilities Manager for the Biology department at the University of Nevada, Reno, overseeing operations and resolving issues related to utilities and scientific equipment. Earlier experience includes roles as a Safety Specialist and a Research Assistant II at Charles River Laboratories, where Spencer conducted training, incident investigations, and laboratory procedures. Spencer holds an M.B.A. and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and previously studied at the University of Oregon.
