Evan Sparks

Evan Sparks, CAE, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the banking and philanthropy sectors. Since April 2013, Evan has served as Senior Vice President of Member Communications at the American Bankers Association, where responsibilities include leading a team in marketing and executive communications, producing the ABA Banking Journal Podcast, and overseeing editorial production for key publications. Previously, Evan held various editorial roles at the ABA, including Vice President of Publications and Editorial Director, where accomplishments included high satisfaction ratings for ABA Daily Newsbytes and ghostwriting op-eds for major national outlets. In addition, Evan managed Philanthropy magazine at the Philanthropy Roundtable and contributed to the American Enterprise Institute's publications. Evan holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from Tulane University and attended The London School of Economics and Political Science.
