Bengt Lindberg has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Bengt started their career in 1984 as a Production Worker at Saab Automobile AB, where they held various roles involved in welding, sheet metal adjustment, and final car assembly. In 1988, they transitioned to being a Measuring Technician in the NVH Lab, responsible for equipment repair and calibration. In 1989, Bengt became a Testing Engineer in the NVH Lab, focusing on wind noise, external noise, and squeaks and rattles. Bengt then took on the role of Testing Engineer in Complete Vehicle Testing, where they were responsible for properties, reliability, and durability testing. In 1996, they became the Group Manager of Complete Vehicle Testing, leading a team in conducting validation tests on a global scale. Bengt later became the Section Manager of Hardware Planning and Test Car Administration, before eventually becoming the Engineering Manager for Development Workshops and Labs at Saab Automobile AB.
In 2012, Bengt joined Innovatum AB as a Project Coordinator for a short period before joining NEVS in 2013. At NEVS, they started as the Facility Maintenance Manager and then progressed to Director, Vehicle Integration and Testing, Senior Director, Vehicle Integration and Testing, and finally Senior Director, Engineering Operations.
Bengt Lindberg attended Rådaskolan in Mellerud from 1971 to 1980, where they completed their Grundskolan education. Following that, from 1980 to 1984, they enrolled in Nils Erikson Gymnasiet and obtained a degree in Gymnasieingenjör, specializing in the field of study in Maskin.
