Amber Shavers

Amber Shavers is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership, project management, and advocacy. Currently serving as Chief Of Staff at New 42 since October 2020, Amber previously held roles such as Special Projects Manager at Ajilon and Founder of Routes of Soul, a travel blog and ecommerce platform dedicated to promoting authentic travel experiences for Black women. Amber's experience includes significant positions at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, where as Associate Producer, Amber managed public programming and fundraising initiatives, achieving a $2.4 million annual goal. With a history of consulting for musicians and writing "The Little Book of Music Law," Amber has also contributed to diversity efforts in organizations such as White & Case LLP. Amber holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
