Michael E. Barker

Michael E. Barker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public service and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Public Service in New Albany, Ohio since September 2013, Michael has held various roles within the city, including Deputy Director of Public Service, Deputy Director of Community Development, Engineer, and Development Services Manager. Prior experience includes a position as a Civil Engineer with the City of Westerville from May 2012 to September 2013, and previous roles as a Project Manager at Advanced Civil Design, Inc., a Design Engineer at R.D. Zande & Associates, and a Project Engineer at Estes Shields Engineering Inc. Michael E. Barker holds a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University.
