George Obitre-Gama

George Obitre-Gama is an experienced professional in civil engineering and program management with a strong focus on infrastructure development. Currently serving as Chief of Party at Green Powered Technology, George oversees USAID's NUDEIL program, focusing on WASH systems, transportation infrastructure, and primary schools. Previously, as Chief of Party for Tetra Tech, George managed the Liberia Municipal Water Project, ensuring effective engagement with USAID and local government institutions. With a background that includes roles such as Contracts Manager at MCA-L and Senior Program Engineer with USAID/Afghanistan, George has demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, contract oversight, and maintaining quality and budget standards across various international development initiatives. George holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
