Kevin Donnelly

As senior development and donor relations officer, Kevin Donnelly leads donor relations and external communications for the Development team. He plans and executes donor-facing events and implements communications strategies to keep New America's community of supporters and partners apprised of ongoing and emerging workstreams. He also works with the Leadership Team to drive cross-collaborative work across New America's programs. And he supports the Development team in advancing a portfolio of funding partnerships with private foundations and corporate partners in alignment with New America’s mission and key priorities.

Prior to joining New America, Donnelly worked as a donor services officer for the Greater Washington Community Foundation managing a portfolio of donor advised, scholarship, and sponsored program funds, helping new and prospective donors strategize about their giving while providing them with necessary resources to reach their philanthropic goals.

Donnelly holds a bachelors of arts in government and politics and a masters of public policy specializing in nonprofit management and leadership from the University of Maryland, College Park.
