Business Mentor PAVE Program at New Avenues for Youth

Chad Lynch has extensive experience in business development, particularly in the legal and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as a Business Mentor for the PAVE Program at New Avenues for Youth and as a Charter Member of TiE Oregon since January 2017, Chad previously held the position of Director of Corporate Business Development at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from April 2007 to December 2015. In this role, Chad developed the Total Access program to support early-stage companies and venture capitalists. Chad also contributed to Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman's business development in the Venture Capital Practice from January 2004 to March 2007, where an educational initiative called BackStage Pass was established. Earlier experience includes serving as a Business Development Manager in Deloitte's Venture Capital Practice from 2001 to 2004. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a focus on Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania, earned between 1972 and 1976.
