Justin Rush

Justin Rush, PhD, ATC, is a Sports Research Engineer at New Balance since March 2025. Previously, Justin served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Ohio University from July 2023 to March 2025 and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at The University of Toledo from August 2019 to July 2023. Prior to academic roles, Justin worked at Moe's Southwest Grill from August 2012 to July 2019 and held a position in Camp Administration at Varsity Spirit from June 2016 to October 2018, where responsibilities included registrations, scheduling, and providing first aid. Justin's background also includes experience as an Athletic Trainer at the Sports and Medical Sciences Academy from August 2017 to May 2018. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Toledo, a Master's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut, and a Postgraduate Degree in Neuroscience and Biomechanics from Ohio University.
