Mathias Boenke

Mathias Boenke is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the retail and business sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President EMEA at New Balance since 2021. Prior to this role, Mathias was a member of the Executive Board at INTERSPORT Deutschland e.G. from 2018 to 2021, and served on the Non-Executive Board of IIC-INTERSPORT International Corporation GmbH during the same period. Mathias held various leadership roles at INTERSPORT Austria GmbH between 2014 and 2018, including CEO, where responsibilities included overseeing markets in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Previous experience includes CEO positions at Huber Holding AG from 2006 to 2013 and the Country Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at New Balance from 2001 to 2006. Mathias also worked as a consultant in biotech and internet sectors and led international business initiatives for Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller across multiple European markets.
