Dena Haden

Dena Haden is a distinguished fine artist and arts educator with extensive experience in various art institutions and collaborative spaces. As the Founder and Director of the Co-Creative Center since May 2018, Dena has played a pivotal role in fostering creativity within the community. Currently serving as the Interim Exhibitions Manager at the New Bedford Art Museum and a Co-Founder of Superflat New Bedford and Groundwork Coworking Space, Dena's contributions have significantly impacted the local arts scene. With a Master of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Dena has also held various teaching positions, including Director of the Boston Critique Group and Adjunct Professor of Art and Design at Newbury College. Dena's artistic endeavors continue to thrive through participation in TEDx New Bedford and prior roles, demonstrating a commitment to the arts since 2000.
