Suzanne de Vegh

Suzanne de Vegh is the Executive Director at New Bedford Art Museum since September 2022, bringing extensive experience in program development and audience engagement within the arts sector. Prior roles include Program Director at Pratt Institute, where responsibilities encompassed the planning and marketing of professional studies programs, and Director of Public Programs and Audience Engagement at American Folk Art Museum. Additional experience includes serving as Program Officer at Japan Society, along with various teaching and educator roles at notable institutions such as the Museum of Arts and Design and Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Suzanne holds an M.S. in Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street College and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
