New Bedford Whaling Museum
Amanda McMullen serves as the President and CEO of the New Bedford Whaling Museum since May 2018. Previously, Amanda held various roles at Meeting Street, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and Senior Director of External Relations, where responsibilities encompassed marketing, public relations, fund development, and financial aid for a non-profit dedicated to educational services for children. Earlier career experience includes positions at the Smithsonian Institution as Director of Corporate Sponsorship, the United Way of Massachusetts Bay as Director of Leadership Giving, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum as Capital Campaign Coordinator. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University and has attended Lincoln School.
