Jarvis Wyche, Ed.D. has had a diverse range of work experiences. Jarvis currently holds the position of Assistant Head of Middle School at New Canaan Country School. Previously, they served as the Director of Student Life and Engagement at Fayerweather Street School, where they oversaw student conduct and behavior management, designed community engagement programs, and coordinated student leadership opportunities. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Project RISE at Thayer Academy, where they administered and operated an academic enrichment program for students in grades 3-10. Jarvis also worked as a School Counselor and Middle School Health and Wellness teacher at Project RISE. Before transitioning to the education field, Jarvis worked as a Compliance Specialist and Family Interventionist Specialist at Youth Villages. Jarvis also served as a School Guidance Counselor at MILLERS RUN USD #37 SCHOOL DISTRICT and as an Activities/Programming Director at Benchmark Assisted Living.

Jarvis Wyche, Ed.D., completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership at Northeastern University from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in School Counseling from Northeastern University between 2010 and 2012. In 2009, they obtained a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. Their undergraduate education was in Vocal Performance as well, as they earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in 2007.
