Alexa Lewis, MSW, LISW-S, LCSW, is an experienced clinical therapist and assistant artistic swimming coach with a strong background in trauma-informed therapy and case management. Currently serving as an Assistant Artistic Swimming Coach at New Canaan YMCA and a Clinical Therapist at The Village Network, Alexa has provided comprehensive therapy services to individuals and families since 2017. Previous roles include graduate and undergraduate internships focused on case management and community resource connection at The Village Network and Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center, respectively. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University, coupled with experience as a research assistant exploring race and crime. Notable accomplishments in athletics include being a two-time Collegiate National Champion and a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. Servicing communities through AmeriCorps VISTA and Children's Hunger Alliance further reflects Alexa's commitment to social impact and community well-being.
