Wadooah Wali

Wadooah Wali is an accomplished media executive with significant experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives within the entertainment sector. Currently serving as Co-Founder, Chief Strategy Officer, and Executive Producer at New Canvas since January 2022, Wadooah leads a media company focused on producing immersive content for diverse audiences. As an Advisory Board Member of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics since August 2019, Wadooah contributes to the Dorian Awards, celebrating excellence in film and television. Additionally, Wadooah co-founded REVRY, Inc., the first global LGBTQ streaming network, and has a rich background in production, including founding Parking Meter Productions. Previous roles include Director of Corporate Communications at WarnerMedia and leading programming at QueerX, showcasing a proven track record in strategic communications and media advocacy. Wadooah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of South Florida.
