Meggan Schlaud has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Meggan most recently served as the Director of Business Development at New City Moving, Inc. starting in April 2023. Before that, they worked at Yembo, first as a Senior Sales Development Representative from January 2021 to July 2022 and then as a Customer Success Advocate from July 2022 to April 2023. In 2020, they were a Licensed Insurance Agent at L.L.O.Y.D. Agencies. From 2016 to 2020, they held multiple roles at New World Van Lines, including Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Internal Auditor, Storage Coordinator, and Billing Specialist. Prior to that, they were a Manager at Strongbox Self Storage from 2014 to 2016. Meggan also worked as a Store Manager at Family Video from 2013 to 2014 and as a Physical Therapy Technician at ProStep Rehab from 2011 to 2013.
Meggan Schlaud received a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Administration from Central Michigan University in 2018. Prior to that, they studied Political Science and Government at the same university from 2010 to 2012.

We have been honored for our community outreach by the Chicago Police Department, commended for contributions to our wonderful Chicago neighborhood of Bucktown/Wicker Park, and featured in the Chicago Tribune’s RedEye, as experts on the Chicago Moving Experience. New City Moving is licensed and insured with the Illinois Commerce Commission and we have an "A" rating by the Better Business Bureau for maintaining ethical business practices.
