New Creation Church
Rev. Melissa Thomas has served as the Pastor of New Creation Church since June 2018, providing leadership and pastoral care. Prior experience includes roles as a Retail Salesworker at Cracker Barrel and Music Pastor at Family Worship Church, where responsibilities encompassed leading praise and worship and fostering spiritual growth among congregants. Rev. Thomas has also held various positions in multiple churches, including Secretary and Treasurer for Full Gospel Churches International in Illinois, and Caregiver for Special Touch Ministries, a youth summer camp for individuals with disabilities. An educational background includes coursework at Lewis and Clark Community College, Belleville Area College, and University of Maryland Europe, complemented by high school education at Belleville West and Belleville East.

Our worship, prayers, and Pastor's message are current and relevant. Music includes a variety of styles; from modern praise music to traditional hymns and spirituals. Communion is offered weekly and is open to all who are spiritually hungry, including children of all ages. We are an inclusive and reconciling community, offering God's hospitality to everyone.
