Monale Ratsoma

Monale Ratsoma is a financial expert with extensive experience in senior leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the New Development Bank, Monale previously held the position of Director General/Head at the BRICS New Development Bank's Africa Regional Centre. Monale's career includes significant contributions at the National Treasury of South Africa, where leadership roles encompassed Head of Economic Policy, Acting Head of International and Regional Economic Policy, and Chief Director of Liability Management. Additionally, Monale served as Chief Economist and Acting CEO at Thebe Securities/Stockbroking and held the role of Senior Macro Strategist at ABSA Capital. Academic qualifications include a Master of Commerce in Economics from the University of Johannesburg and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Economics from the University of the Western Cape.
