Lauren Sloan, MA, NCC, LPC, currently serves as a Psychotherapist in Private Practice at New Directions Mental Health since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Resident Psychotherapist at Thriveworks and Evaluator Clinician II at UPMC. Lauren has also worked as an Employment Specialist at PA Connecting Communities and gained valuable experience as a Therapist Intern at Stepping Stones Psychiatric Care and Allied Addiction Recovery, LLC. Earlier career positions include Intake Coordinator at PERSOMA and a Student Nursing Assistant at Western Psychiatric Clinic’s Dual Diagnosis Unit. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
