Ben Emons

As Principal, Senior Portfolio Strategist, Ben leads fixed income portfolio management within the NewEdge investment team and is responsible for the design, construction, and implementation of fixed-income strategies across different platforms. He works closely with advisors and provides investment insights on global fixed-income and cross-asset markets. Prior to joining NewEdge Wealth, Ben was a Managing Director, Global Macro Strategy at Medley Global Advisors, Head of Credit Portfolio Management at Intellectus Partners, and a Portfolio Manager at PIMCO and Nuveen Investments.

Ben has over 25 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, a master’s degree in international finance from the University of Amsterdam, and a certification in Financial Engineering from Columbia University in New York.

Ben is a regular guest on CNBC, Bloomberg Television and Radio, Yahoo Finance, TD Ameritrade, and numerous international media networks. He is also a published author of three books. Ben was born and raised in the Netherlands and enjoys surfing, skiing, and practicing martial arts in his spare time.
