Mark Ahmed

As a principal partner at NewEdge Wealth, Mark and his team work with affluent individuals, families, and business owners to provide comprehensive wealth management services, financial planning, and portfolio analysis. With over 25 years of experience working on portfolio construction, portfolio management, and overseeing progress toward clients’ financial goals, Mark specializes in helping venture-backed founders minimize capital, income, and estate taxes as well as income replacement planning, philanthropic funding, and stock option/RSU liquidity planning. Prior to launching the first NewEdge Wealth branch office on the West Coast, Mark served as Senior Vice President for Merrill Lynch and Senior Vice President for UBS.

Mark holds an MBA in finance and a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
