As Principal, Matthew is responsible for driving growth at NewEdge as well as advising ultra high –net worth individuals, family offices, and institutions with fixed income and equity investment strategies. With over two decades of experience in financial services, Matthew has spent much of his career working closely with clients to manage and develop portfolios that speak specifically and directly to their various needs. This includes providing thoughtful advice and guidance on investments, retirement, philanthropy, estate, and tax-planning strategies.

Prior to joining NewEdge, Matthew served as a Managing Director/Private Wealth Advisor at SVB Private/Boston Private Wealth, an investment advisor at Morgan Stanley for close to ten years, and the Head of Business Development and investment committee member at Heritage Capital Management. All of these roles revolved around working closely with individuals, families, and non-profits focusing on investment strategy, asset allocation, and investment selection. Additionally, prior to 2000, Matthew spent over five years teaching and coaching internationally as well as domestically.

Matthew serves on the Board of Overseers at Children’s Hospital Boston, the Beth Israel Deaconess Finance Committee, the North Andover Baseball Board, and is a long-standing member of the Heart Council. He is also the founder of the Temple, Congregation Ahavat Olam in North Andover, MA.

Matthew received his B.A. from Union College in New York, his M.B.A. from Northeastern University in Boston, and attended Ben-Gurion University in Israel. He lives north of Boston with his wife, Cindy, children, Abigail, Emma, and William, and two Labradoodles – Fenway and Foxboro. In his free time, Matthew enjoys golf and travel.
