Martin Cawsey

Martin Cawsey, MST, CPA, ACA, CGMA, serves as the Assistant Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at New England Aquarium since September 2022. Prior to this role, Martin held various finance-focused positions, including Director of Finance at Neighborhood House Charter School, where oversight of accounting, financial reporting, budget planning, and cash management was achieved. Martin also worked as North America Financial Controller for Cambridge Education Group, managing financial operations across 10 locations, and served as Controller for Dependable Cleaners, overseeing accounting and HR for 16 locations. Prior roles include Accounting Manager for the Boston Red Sox and Controller for Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, where Martin managed accounting departments and presented financials to governing bodies. Martin's professional journey began as Director of Finance at Asmara Rugs, Inc., and included roles at Just Interesting Gifts Limited. Martin holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Middlesex University.
