Nathan Shrader is an experienced academic and political professional currently serving as an Associate Professor of Politics and Co-Director of the Center for Civic Engagement at New England College since August 2022. Prior to this role, Nathan held positions at Millsaps College as Associate Professor of Government and Politics and Chair of the Department of Government and Politics, as well as Assistant Professor of Political Science. Nathan's political experience includes serving as a Delegate and Deputy Whip for Biden for President during the 2020 Democratic National Convention. Nathan earned a Ph.D. in American Politics and Political Theory from Temple University, an MS in Political Science and Government from Suffolk University, and a BA in Political Science and Government from Thiel College.
