Susan Evans McClure holds a Master of Education in Arts in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from McGill University. Currently serving as Executive Director of the Vermont Arts Council and a Board Member at the New England Foundation for the Arts, Susan has a rich history of leadership in the arts. Significant roles include Executive Director of Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, where Susan oversaw operations, and Director of Programs and Audience Development at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History, facilitating audience engagement with American History through various innovative programs. Additional experience includes extensive contributions to organizations such as VSA Vermont, Inc., Carpenter Carse Library, and the Addison County Economic Development Corporation, as well as marketing management at Magic Hat Brewing Company.
