Maria Lapiana

Maria LaPiana serves as the Content Director at TileBar, which has been recognized as an innovative leader in the tile industry since November 2022. Additionally, Maria contributes as a writer for New England Home since 2013. Previous experience includes roles as a Copywriter at Ethan Allen Global, Inc. from March 2015 to March 2020, Managing Editor at Cottages & Gardens Publications, Editor at Connecticut Home & Garden, and Associate Editor/Copywriter at The Taunton Press. Early career highlights include serving as Senior Writer and Assistant Features Editor at The Sacramento Bee and as Home Writer at Newsday. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Magazine Journalism from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications and a Bachelor’s degree in English from SUNY New Paltz.
