James Papadimitriou

James Papadimitriou, P.E. is an experienced Senior Project Manager and Senior Automation Engineer at Wright-Pierce, where responsibilities include overseeing Automation Discipline work on large multi-discipline Water/Wastewater Projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. In addition to current involvement with the Energy Committee of the New England Water Environment Association since 2016, James served as an Adjunct Professor at Central Connecticut State University from 2015 to 2019, teaching courses on Manufacturing Automation and Machine Cell Design, Data Acquisition Systems and Signal Processing, and Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interface. Previous roles include Past President of the Connecticut Valley Section of the International Society of Automation, Project Manager and Senior Automation Engineer at CDM Smith, Control Systems Integration Manager at Fuss & O'Neill, and I&C Engineer at Tighe & Bond. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Hofstra University and a NY State Regents Degree from Patchogue Medford High School.
