Philip Chopin

Philip is a Partner at NEA and is based in London where he will be leading our European efforts on the ground. He focuses on consumer, fintech, enterprise software businesses and robotics, and likes to collaborate with entrepreneurs early in their journey to build category-leading companies.

Prior to NEA, Philip was a Partner at 83North with investments in companies Critizr, Hungry Panda, Keelvar, Paddle and SellerX. He was also involved in sourcing or supporting 83North’s investments in Exotec, Form3, Holidu, Podimo, Trigo, Wandelbots and Wolt (recently acquired by Doordash for $8b). He is also an angel investor in Exotec.

Previously, Philip was Senior Director of International at SSENSE, a global online luxury fashion retailer. Earlier in his career, Philip was a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group working out of the Mexico City, New York and Montreal offices, primarily focusing on Tech and Retail.

Philip holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a MSc from Grenoble Ecole de Management.

Philip is an avid traveler (45 countries and counting!), tennis player and fan of Olympique de Marseille.
