Kuda Phairah has a diverse work experience in the forestry industry spanning over two decades. They began their career as a Forester at Allied Timbers Zimbabwe in 1999 and later moved on to become the Harvesting and Logistics Manager. In 2007, Phairah joined Umkomaas Forestry Contractors as an Operations Manager. They then joined Merensky Timber in 2008 as a Mechanised Harvesting Forester. In 2011, Phairah joined York Timbers, where they held the roles of Harvesting Specialist and later General Manager Forestry. Currently, Phairah holds the position of Associate Director Operations, Africa at New Forests, a role they started in November 2022.

Kuda Phairah has a diverse educational background. Kuda completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from Zimbabwe Open University in 2004. Prior to that, in 1998, they obtained a Diploma in Forestry from the Zimbabwe College of Forestry.
